Buffalo Gap Camp, Capon Bridge, WV
June 17-20, 1999

The Bruce Daigrepont Cajun Band returned  to Buffalo Jambalaya, an annual Zydeco and Cajun Weekend held at the Buffalo Gap Community Camp in Capon Bridge, West Virginia--about 30 miles west of Winchester, Virginia and about a 2-hour drive from Washington, DC.  The weekend normally features three well-known Cajun and Zydeco bands.   This year it was Chris Ardoin & Double Clutchin';  J.Paul and the Zydeco New Breeds;  and Bruce.  The days were filled with dance lessons, master classes, Louisiana culture, crafts, and time to just enjoy the beautiful natural setting.  Each evening there was a 5+ hour dance with each band doing a set.  Saturday evening is the big Mardi Gras Ball where you can dress up in costumes and do outrageous things--or just be yourself and enjoy the music and dance.
