Festivals Acadiens Poster - 1998
September 19-20, 1998

Bruce has played at Festivals Acadiens many times over the years, but in 1998 we caught the band on film. In spite of a tropical storm moving toward the Lafayette area, the Festival Acadiens went on as scheduled.  On Saturday afternoon it rained for about 20 minutes, but by the time the stage crew got some plastic sheeting up to protect the musicians, the rain had passed.  It cooled things off a bit and kept the dust down and didn't even slow down the band and the dancers.  Bruce and the band played from 6:30PM to 8PM and the fun continued as the sun went down.
